Probably the first and number one question I get after a client books a session is where should we do the photos! And if I am being completely honest it doesn't matter to me much, BECAUSE for me its about the emotions and the memories I am capturing for you. So this is something you have to decide, what you want the background of your memories to be! It's fun to do a shoot at a place you have special memories so if you have somewhere else in mind please share! I love shooting in new places with new backdrops! But here is a few of my favorites and go to places.


Ault Park

So many little areas, can go there a ton of times and still get different looks.

Smale Park

A good option of a little city view and a nice park setting.

French Park

My favorite spot when the sun is setting, super pretty light. Lots of trees and a cute brick house for the backdrop.

Alms Park

Nice park setting, with the pavilion and lots of trees.

Washington Park


You get the park setting with the urban feel.

Plus some gorgeous architectural spots. 

George Rogers Park (Covington)


This is another one of my favorites, so many cute spots. The cutest cobble stone road, some views of the city, gorgeous architectural house, and a little bit of park.

 

Longworth Hall


Urban setting with so many fun backdrops. 

Eden Park


Great park setting with some nice architectural details. Super pretty early in the morning with the light.

Sharon Woods

Great Park setting, has some fields, and creek with bridges that offer some variety.

Perfect urban setting with some fun places around for backdrops.

Great park with an open field and trees.

Your own back yard


I have done many session in clients backyards and I think it's such a special memory! 


Other great places are random fields with flower, apple orchards, farms,

creeks or any place that has special meaning to you and your family.

I promise with some pretty light and your family in this moment will be perfect.

My goal when capturing families is those genuine moments, and less of what's around.
